EU and Switzerland: deprexis is intended to provide therapeutic techniques and exercises based on evidence-based psychological and psychotherapeutic treatment methods, designed to assist patients with unipolar depression or depressive mood in managing their condition. deprexis is intended for autonomous use in addition to regular care for patients who are at least 18 years of age. The program can be used for a duration of 90 days. deprexis is neither intended to replace treatment provided by a healthcare provider nor intended to provide information for diagnostic or therapeutic decisions.
USA: deprexis is a web application intended for the adjunctive treatment of chronic or recurrent depression or depressive disorders as a primary or secondary diagnosis (e.g., as a comorbidity in multiple sclerosis or epilepsy) for patients aged 18 and older experiencing a depressive episode. deprexis can be accessed as an interactive online program via any internet connection. To use deprexis, the patient receives an access key. This access key authorizes the use of deprexis for 90 days following initial registration.
